Your First Visit (Duration: 60 minutes)
Thank you for choosing our office for your orthodontic evaluation. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed as you enter this new world of orthodontics. Your first visit to our office is complimentary and is designed to provide you with as much information about your orthodontic and dental needs as possible. We hope your visit will be enjoyable as well as informative. At your new patient exam, you will receive a tour of the office and then be seated in our consultation room. The latest in digital radiographic techniques will be used to evaluate the oral structures.
Dr. Roth will then personally do a thorough exam of your teeth, bite, oral tissues, and temporomandibular joints. After this, you, your parents, and the doctor will discuss the clinical findings and any areas of concern you may have. The doctor will then recommend an observation interval or treatment options followed by the financial coordinator discussing all financial and insurance benefits.
Your Second Visit (Duration: 45-90 minutes)
At the second visit, full diagnostic records will be taken to confirm the doctor's new patient exam. The records consist of impressions of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and radiographic films of the head and teeth. Dr Roth will then review the records to confirm his initial findings. These records are essential in fully diagnosing orthodontic care as well as tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care. Once confirmed, braces will be placed and a thorough explanation of how to care for the braces will be provided before leaving our office.
Regular Appointments (Duration: 10-40 minutes)
Once your initial appointments are behind you, you'll then see us at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart for adjustments, which take ten to 40 minutes. Our regular office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. Please cancel only if it is an emergency.
